gerund or present participle: mixing
Audio mixing is the process by which multiple sounds are combined into one or more channels. In the process, a source's volume level, frequency content, dynamics, and panoramic position are manipulated and or enhanced. Also, effects such as reverberation and echo may be added.
+ FINAL MIX
In mixing, the goal is to make the individual elements and parts of a record cohesive, forming the whole body of a track. If the production can be thought of as parts of a car, then the mixing process makes sure all of the parts are put in the right place to form a working vehicle. Processes such as gain staging, equalizing, transient shaping, panning, dynamic compression and so on, are all crucial parts in the mixing process. Our Engineer’s will make every element of your track work together and blend as a whole when looking at the big picture.
